Check! Swimming cap? Check! Goggles? Check! OK! \u53ef\u4ee5\u53bb\u65e5\u6708\u6f6d\u6e38\u6cf3\u4e86!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What? Swim across a lake? \u4f60\u89ba\u5f97\u6e38\u904e\u4e00\u500b\u6e56\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u55ce? Wrong! I did it, and so<br>can you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year in September, thousands and thousands of people in Taiwan swim<br>across Sun Moon Lake! Now it&#8217;s a famous swimming event and people from all<br>around the world go to swim across the lake!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sun Moon Lake is Taiwan&#8217;s biggest freshwater lake. You can open your eyes<br>underwater and it doesn&#8217;t hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u5728\u6e56\u88e1\u9762\u6e38\u6cf3\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u775c\u958b\u773c\u775b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My favorite place for freshwater swimming in Taiwan is Sun Moon Lake in<br>Nantou!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People of all ages \u2026 from 10-years-old to 100-years-old \u2026 swim 3,000 meters<br>across Sun Moon Lake every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u9019\u4e0d\u662f\u6bd4\u8cfd. You can swim fast or you can swim slow \u2026 you just need to get to<br>the other side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are lots of lifeguards watching all the swimmers \u2026 and you need to<br>wear a special life-vest\u2026and that&#8217;s good because safety is important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u6bcf\u500b\u4eba\u90fd\u8981\u7a7f\u6551\u751f\u8863\uff0c\u61c9\u70ba\u5b89\u5168\u6700\u91cd\u8981!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to join me and thousands of other people when we swim across Sun Moon<br>Lake next year?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You do?
