Hi everyone! It’s story time!
Uh-oh! It’s raining!
下大雨耶! Ohhh no! Rain, rain go away, come again another day!
…………….Huh? It worked? …………….And now it’s sunny again?! Wow! That was fast!
This sure is some strange weather we’re getting…真是很奇怪的天氣! But, hey,
do you know what days like this are good for? …………. That’s right!
Rainbows!
Have you ever seen a rainbow? 你們有沒有看過彩虹? Rainbows are sooo beautiful! They’re made up of seven, that’s right, seven different colors!! Can you name them all? 有七個顏色喔! Okay, let’s do it together…
Hmmm… let’s see… There’s red… like this tasty apple here……………
mmm, mmm, oh, right, and orange… like, well, an orange…
then there’s yellow… like a mouse’s favorite, …. cheeeese,
a rainbow also has green… like the trees,
and blue… like the sky on a sunny day, and uhhh… let’s see… Well,
that’s five colors… we still need two more to make a rainbow…
Oh! Then we have indigo and violet.
Do you know what colors indigo and violet are?
Indigo and violet look a lot like purple…很像紫色, 有點像茄子only indigo
is a like a dark purple, and violet, well, violet is a kind of light purple.
Now you may have seen all the colors of the rainbow on a striped flag,
這個旗子呢, 它是代表多元化跟支持. The flag represents diversity and support
and they’ve been seen all over the world!
Now, there’s a also a story that says at the end of a rainbow, if you can
find it, there’s a pot of gold! 有聽說彩虹盡頭有一罐金子嗎? 就是gold!
( 真的假的? / Is it true?)
Is the story true? I don’t know. But I will definitely be keeping an eye out
for rainbows from now on!
